Love this place! It’s such a cozy environment and such yummy food and coffee!! This is the perfect spot to study, work, or even hang out with friends and have a private conversation! I love it!! DELICIOUS! Recommend to everyone!!
Shades a a great brewing company on its own no lie. However the phenomenal pairing of that caliber of a brewery paired with a unique kitchen offering such as brocheta is a must see in the down town SLC scene. This kitchen has a very unique style of food that Is unparalleled in the bar scene. Made with compassion and creativity and you have a number of top shelf beers to pair with their many offerings on the food menu.
New Coffeehouse in downtown SLC, so I had to stop by. The crew are very friendly and welcoming. Partnered with the Himalayan Kitchen next door, and all the better for it. I came expecting authentic Chai and I got it, sugar free and rich in a way that I haven't often seen. The space is quite large; larger than I expected from looking up from downstairs. Less of a homey feeling than some other cafes, but I don't have a problem so long as it's comfortable, and it's very comfortable. No baked goods as of yet though the kitchen is in service; less subcontinental than I was expecting but that's not necessarily a problem in a city as blessed with good Indian and Pakistani cooking as Salt Lake is. Looking forward to their continued development.
I've wanted to try Habitat for a while & it did not disappoint! Its such a cute eclectic place to eat. I didnt jump on the avocado toast wagon when it became a thing but after eating it here, WOW! Its freakin amazing!! I am a fan now. My husband & I also ordered the salmon bruschetta toast omg so delicious! The fruit salad & spring salad was to die for. The flavors & concoction of the food was amazing! Cherry on top was the waitress, wish I remembered her name but she was awesome & kind. I'm definitely coming back here again. The entrance door was stuck so pull a little hard because we almost walked away thinking it was closed.

This place is the best!! I went for drag brunch and it was filled with great company, a GREAT show, and AMAZING food and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun at the same time, and the space is really cool. I got the salmon sandwich and it was to die for!!
I’m a food blogger and had to come into Habitat Coffee Shop when I saw their cotton candy coffee on a friends page. I had no idea the food would be the best breakfast food I’ve ever had! I’ve been blogging for five years & been to over 300 restaurants for collabs in different states and countries. My friend who went with me, is also a travel blogger, and said the same thing about the food quality! I also loved the spaces decor and the different seating options from window sill seating, on the floor pillows to lounge on, regular tables, and couches. We got the cotton candy coffee, the s’mores frapp, avocado toast, bacon and ham sandwich, and salmon bruschetta. EVERYTHING WAS BEYOND DELICIOUS! The service was amazing and we had a great time! I HIGHLY recommend this place and I will be back to Utah just to eat here again.
This space is absolutely amazing! Went for Drag Brunch on Sunday. Ordered a bottle of champagne for self serve mimosas at the table as its the best deal! I had the breakfast sandwich that was absolutely delicious! The drag show was phenomenal and one of the best I've seen in this city. So engaging with the crowd. During the quick 20-30min intermission the dj played. He hit all those favorite tracks and before long people took over the dance floor to dance and sing. Absolutely recommended you go to this coffee shop each day and night is different.
